The traditional horse carriage ceremony, which occurs during the break of polo matches
For the past two years, we have supported the Wounded Warriors Polo Benefit, a cause close to our hearts. Dozens of generous donors participated in this event, including our benevolent clients, our benevolent clients, Four Vines of Paso Robles and Murrieta’s Well, located in the heart of the Livermore Valley.
The Wounded Warriors Polo Benefit supports injured veterans from Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and any other location affected by warfare. The world-class polo event was held at the Menlo Circus Club, which is most appropriate, seeing as the cause supports wounded soldiers through equestrian therapy. Over the past ten years alone, over 38,000[1]people have been injured or killed in combat, not including the fact that one in every three soldiers suffers from PTSD, depression or traumatic brain injury[1]. It is our honor and privilege to help support their recovery in any way we can.
The live auction raised close to $7,000, with the silent auction raising an additional few thousand. Held annually on or near the anniversary of September 11th, the event always has special significance for veterans and attendees.
