Being a fairly recent member of the CCA team, I’ve had the opportunity to explore the best city in the country (according to Bloomberg Businessweek): San Francisco. I grew up an hour and a half away in Alexander Valley, so it was a special treat to visit the city’s many wonders.
Some of the exciting happenings I’ve attended in the city include: cheering on the Giants at AT&T park several times (including the perfect game), enjoying the America’s Cup, going to the San Francisco 49er’s home opener, and of course, actively eating my way through San Francisco’s culinary offerings. This city is so alive and never ceases to excite!

Most recently, I ventured to the San Francisco Opera in celebration of its 90th season and saw one of my favorite performances: Rigoletto by Giuseppe Verdi. The show was done with such grace, a truly excellent piece.

What a thriving city to live in! Each week is one to look forward to, especially the first weekend of October, where the City will be booming with the America’s Cup, Hardly Strictly, a 49ers home game, the Giants post-season home game, LoCA Uncorked: The Wines of Lodi festival at Treasure Island and Fleet Week!
